Currently, the most reliable method to update your Killer Queen cabinet is via Ethernet connection.
UPDATING VIA ETHERNET CONNECTION:
- Remove the back panel of Blue Cabinet.
- Locate your cabinet's operating computer -- if you have a traditional tower PC, it should be mounted to the cabinet floor.
- The most recent model of Killer Queen cabinet has a smaller, more compact PC called a Nuc. It is usually mounted to the wall opposite the back panel opening.
- Locate the Ethernet port in your cabinet's computer.
- Plug your Ethernet cable into your cabinet's computer, and make sure the Ethernet cable is connected to your router.
Once your cabinet is connected to the Internet, you should eventually see a message on the bottom of your screen reading
"An update is available on reboot."
Reboot your cabinet, and the update process should start automatically.
In very rare cases, the update process has gotten "stuck", causing the cabinet to repeatedly attempt (and fail) the update process. If your cabinet gets stuck in this loop, please see "Reverting Your Cabinet to the Previous Build" to fix the issue.
