There have been a couple of customers recently who have had issues that were difficult to diagnose after basic troubleshooting.
One recent issue, from Connor M, was as follows:
"I am trying to run a tournament in Boise, Idaho with a Killer Queen system and am experiencing some failures. This morning the consoles were working fine, until the sensors connected to the buttons stopped working (not allowing players to start the game). No lights are illuminated around the base or logo”Killer Queen” and no sound. Everything else is working (i.e. the TV monitors work-displaying “press any button to start”. But no buttons or joy-sticks will allow players to start.
This console worked all day yesterday, as well as this morning. Now the above problems are happening and we cannot start our tournament."
An easy thing to overlook in situations like these is the circuit board.
In scenarios like this one, use a multimeter to test the fuses on your board. In this particular case, one of the 5A 120v fuses was blown, and replacing the fuse fixed the issue.
