Jorge of Charlotte has discovered a problem with our older legacy cabinets:

Now that there are two separate .iso files for the game (one for pre-Raw Thrills cabinets, one for post-Raw Thrills cabinets), there is a potential incompatibility in versions that results in a total loss of cabinet sound.

From Jorge:

"Very long story sort of short, when BB released the game version iso that started to have to have two different install versions (one for RT and one for non-RT) the OS packaging and install process all changed and it uses UEFI now. The PC in this cab had secure boot UEFI turned on and when you install KQ fresh it prevents the OS installation process from being able to access the sound card as it doesn’t have the UEFI secure boot key for it. I manually finagled everything from the command line to get it to re-recognize the sound card and also reinstalled the OS sound utility.

I suspect if I were to do a complete reinstall right now with secure boot turned off (by deleting the keys in BIOS) sound would work out of the box but not gonna bother testing that right now."

This issue will be updated once we have a more specific fix/explanation.
